# How to update judge quotas

|| During the judging process, there may be situations when you would need to adjust judging quotas or re-assign judgments from one judge to another.

Here's how to do it:

1. Log in to your NMM account.
2. Open the relevant task.
3. Click **Run judging session** to access the **Judges** page as shown on the screenshot below:

4. Tick the tiny box before a judge's email address to activate the editor and then click the  **Update Quota** button as shown on the screenshot below:

||| NOTE: Use the tick boxes to select the judge you want to change.

6. A popup window will appear, **type the sum of the current quota plus the additional judgments**

| For example: The current judge's quota is 100 + 20 additional judgments = 120 is the number to type

6. Click **Update** as shown on the screenshot below:

| NOTE: You have to repeat these steps for each judge you want to change the quota for because the system could no longer adjust judges' quotas automatically once judging on your task has started.
