Creating a Custom Automark Progression
What is a Progression?
When you sign into Automark you are given the option to create a custom Progression. A Progression is a series of linked tests. For example, you may have topics all related to the same subject or you may be testing a year group three times per year.
The dialogue asks for the long name of the progression and the short name. The long name will appear on your dashboard and your results, while the short name will be printed on the sheets that the students use. You can limit the year groups the progression will be available for.
After creating a progression it will now appear in your progressions list. To add topics to the progression select the progression, the academic year, the year group and click Apply.
Now you can add a topic. Click on the Plus button and then the pencil button to edit the topic.
A topic will be applied to the progression for every year group and every academic year. This means you can easily re-use progressions in different academic years with different year groups.
On the Edit Topic screen you can name your topic and provide the answer key.
You can create up to 20 questions, each with 5 options.
Now you have created your first topic, you need to add your list of students via the Upload Students button. Follow the instructions to upload your students and you will be ready to download and print your Test Sheets.
