What is Automark?
Automark uses AI to mark paper based multiple choice tests. Using automark, you can create 20 question multiple choice tests to print out and distribute to your students. After the test you can scan them in using any photocopier and our site will read the sheets and mark them for you.
All the quizzes linked to the No More Marking Writing Progression are stored on the Automark website and can be marked and analysed using Automark. You can also use Automark to set your own custom quizzes.
When you sign up you are given 50 free credits to try out the system. 1 credit buys 1 uploaded sheet. Further credits can then be purchased. The costs are shown here.
Automark is set up as a series of Progressions. A progression is a series of tests that are linked together to measure progress. For example, with our national writing progression we track students' progress across a series of tests linked to sentence construction. At the end of the progression you can then receive a record of progress with the scores of every test taken in that progression matched by student.
The feedback from each test in automark includes:
The response given by a student to each question
The score for each student by question
A pdf which you can print and return to each student which shows which questions they got right and wrong
If you wish to include diagnostic feedback you can do so. If you add the diagnostic information you will then receive a misconceptions report organised by class.
